We believe that working together as a team leads to enhanced and continuous progress as we strive to discover each child’s hidden abilities.Registered Behavior Technician (RBT):Hidden Gems ABA is seeking Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) for part and full-time positions. The RBT will work as part of a team to support the needs of children with autism to learn, communicate, and cope.Responsibilities:Provide direct 1:1 behavior therapy to children with autism in a variety of settingsCollect, record, and summarize data on client behavior using electronic data collection (CentralReach)Follow prescribed interventions as outlined by supervising staffEffectively communicate with parents and other stakeholders regarding case dynamicsMaintain client confidentiality and high level of professionalism in all settingsMaintain records, materials, and instructional tools across settings in an organized fashionAdhere to designated schedule with appropriate punctuality Attend team meetings and trainings when necessaryQualifications:Experience working with children with autism or other developmentally delaying disordersComfortable using electronic data collection and note writing technology (CentralReach)Benefits:Paid training, holidays, and time-offComprehensive health care coverage (including, medical, dental, and vision) Professional development assistanceContinuous, practical, hands-on training and supervision providedFree BCBA student/intern supervision providedSchedule:Monday to Friday (weekend availability is an option)Compensation:$25 - $30 per hour (commensurate with experience)Location: East Orange, NJEmployment is contingent on passing a background check and negative TB test
