Hourly Pay: $25.00/hr. Shift(s): Mon-Fri 7:00am - 5:00pm Location: Savannah, GA, 31408 Position Summary: The Local Driver will be responsible for the delivery and retrieval of trailers containing pallets; the Local Driver will operate within 100 mi of Savannah making around 6-8 routes per shift; the position is drop & hook, no touch freight.  Trailers are mostly dry van, some flat bed and open-top.  Benefits No Weekends $500 Referral Bonuses 80 hours PTO earned in first 12 months 16 hours PTO roll over 1 floating holiday PAID Company holidays No e-logs (150 mi air exemption) Long-Term Career Opportunities Medical & Health Benefits on Start Date 401k Requirements Minimum age of 23 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years Must Possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician Has not ever been disqualified to drive Can successfully complete a DOT road test PSP report scores of 10 or below in the past 3 years. Any score above 10 will require approval from the 48forty Solutions Team No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years Candidates with experience in logistics, warehouse, OTR, Over-the-Road, CDL Class A License, Truck and Trailer, preferred 48forty Solutions, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.  Hourly pay is dependent on experience and other variables, but this is our starting target range.
