Construction Law Attorney | Jacksonville, FLA well-established Florida law firm is seeking a mid-level Construction Attorney with 3+ years of experience in construction defect, commercial litigation, and/or general liability defense to join its Jacksonville office. This is an excellent opportunity to handle sophisticated construction-related matters within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. What You’ll Do Represent developers, contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in construction defect, delay, lien, and contract disputes.Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, and related project agreements.Manage all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, mediations, and trial preparation.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.Advise clients on risk management, compliance, and claims prevention.Collaborate with partners and clients to develop case strategy and ensure timely, cost-effective resolutions. What We’re Looking For Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar.3+ years of experience in construction law, commercial litigation, or insurance defense.Solid knowledge of Chapter 558, lien law, and construction defect litigation.Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple matters independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis).Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and professionalism.
