Ida Culver House Broadview - $28.00 - $31.00 per hour | Great Benefits Meaningful Work | No Late Nights Era Living is seeking a Dining Services Director to join our team at our Ida Culver House Broadview, a beautiful retirement community in North Seattle, WA. Our dining room serves nearly 300 seniors. Ida Culver House Broadview is close to several bus lines and has free street parking available nearby. The Dining Services Director develops staff schedules, insuring adequate staffing for all shifts, with consideration of budget and quality of service for all meals and special events. They are also a member and contributor to our community’s leadership team. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of food service management Exceptional customer service and collaboration skills Possess basic technical knowledge and dining room administrative knowledge Ability to hire, train, direct, motivate. and supervise others Ability to use good interpersonal skills when interacting with residents, family members, visitors and co-workers Ability to use Word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail and the Internet Ability to read, write and communicate in English Ability to pass DSHS background check, required Education and Experience: Must have 2-5 years of experience in restaurant or retirement food service Supervisory skills required Food handlers permit, CPR and First Aid certification, and Alcohol Serving Certification About Era Living: If you are passionate about improving the quality of life for older adults and exemplify a values based approach to your work, demonstrating integrity, credibility, consistency, strong team orientation, and outstanding communication, we welcome your application Era Living was voted “2024 Winner: Best in the Pacific Northwest – Senior Community” by the Seattle Times.
