A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring aQuality Inspector. Position Type: Full time Contract, Possible Temp to Direct. Duration: 06-12 Months Location: Palm Bay, FL (Onsite) As aQuality Inspector, you will: Responsible for performing inspections, tests and/or audits of purchased parts, units, materials, for incoming parts in receiving, Verification of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing against engineering drawings. Utilize measurement devices tools such as Calipers, Height Gauge, Optical Comparator, micrometers, scales and dimensional measurement systems. Utilize surface plates, precision measuring tools, gauges (blocks) and other mechanical inspection tools/tooling Access drawings and inspection instructions; document non-conformances. Visual inspections of hardware using microscopes and magnifying lens. Review Supplier documentation for adherence to Quality Clauses and Drawing Notes. Initiate nonconformance report describing and photographing discrepancies. Maintains support documentation and performs sampling and testing of incoming components, raw materials, and build of assemblies. Reviews and reports performance data. May interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers. Preferred experience: PWB inspection, Electrical part inspection, Mechanical part inspection/GD&T inspection, IPC certifications The ideal candidate will have: High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Quality Inspector will inspect incoming hardware in accordance with the applicable specifications /drawing requirements and review Supplier documentation. Inspector will identify and document non-conformances. Inspectors will utilize measurement gauges, inspection instruments, and microscopes to perform inspections. GD&T Experience.
