As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Certified Payroll Specialist to join our Illinois team.The Field Project Coordinator acts as the key on-site support for the Operations team, helping to ensure the smooth execution of trenchless lining projects. You will work closely with field crews, subcontractors, municipalities, and inspectors to keep the project organized, safe, and on track. This role is best suited for a detail-oriented, proactive individual comfortable in a fast-paced field environment.Key Responsibilities:Support the coordination and execution of daily site activities across multiple trenchless lining projectsAssist the Foreman and Superintendent with site planning, logistics, and schedulingMaintain daily site documentation, including crew timesheets, site photos, delivery records, and inspection logsCommunicate with subcontractors, clients, and inspectors to ensure alignment on site activitiesTrack and report progress, site issues, and potential delays to the Project ManagerCoordinate locates, road occupancy permits, and site access requirements with municipalitiesAssist with quality control checks, pressure testing documentation, and as-built drawingsEnsure site safety practices are followed and assist with toolbox talks and hazard assessmentsMonitor and document restoration requirements for roadways, boulevards, and landscapingAct as the primary point of contact for site visitors and inspectors when the PM is offsiteQualifications:2+ years of experience in field coordination or construction site supervision (watermain or trenchless preferred)Familiarity with trenchless methods such as CIPP lining, watermain spray-in-place, or pipe bursting (asset)Strong understanding of underground utility work and municipal construction practicesExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and utility locatesProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with digital site reporting tools is an assetStrong communication and interpersonal skills with both field and office teamsValid driver’s license and ability to travel to various project sites within the regionSafety certifications (e.g., First Aid, WHMIS, Confined Space) considered an assetWhat we offer:Competitive salary and benefitsCompany vehicle allowance and other relatd compensationOpportunity to grow with a leading trenchless contractorDynamic team environment focused on safety, innovation, and collaborationInvolvement in high-impact infrastructure projects with long-term community benefit
