Grain Origination Specialist

Job Title: Grain Origination SpecialistCompany Overview:Join a leading agricultural company dedicated to the growth and sustainability of the grain industry. We are committed to providing top-quality products and services to our customers while fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.Position Overview:We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Grain Origination Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing grain supply chains, building relationships with farmers and producers, and ensuring the successful origination of grain products.Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain relationships with local farmers, producers, and suppliers to secure grain supply.Monitor market trends and assess grain quality to optimize origination strategies.Coordinate logistics for grain transportation and storage.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations from origination to delivery.Conduct market analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.Assist in developing and implementing origination strategies to achieve company goals.Represent the company at industry events and community meetings to promote grain sourcing initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science, Business, or related field preferred.Proven experience in grain origination, sourcing, or related agricultural roles.Strong understanding of grain markets, pricing, and supply chain management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with industry-specific software.
