We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions across the entire stack. This role requires expertise in modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, Vue, or Blazor, backend development with C# and Python, and database management using SQL Server and Postgres. Cloud experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is essential for building scalable, secure, and efficient applications. The ideal candidate is a versatile problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering impactful solutions.Position Summary: Under general supervision of a manager, the Software Engineer II is a full-stack engineer who performs work assignments at the task and feature level, with full responsibility for completing individual tasks in a timely fashion to provide complete and correct results. Key Responsibilities:Full-Stack Development (30%):Design and develop user-friendly frontend applications using Bootstrap, Angular, Vue, or Blazor and JavaScript frameworks.Build robust backend services and APIs using C# and Python, ensuring high performance and scalability.Collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver responsive and accessible applications.​Database Management (20%):Design, develop, and optimize database schemas and queries in SQL Server and Postgres.Implement data storage, retrieval, and migration solutions, ensuring data integrity and security.Collaborate with data engineering teams to support advanced analytics and reporting requirements.Cloud and DevOps (20%):Build and deploy cloud-native applications using Azure or GCP, leveraging services for compute, storage, and networking.Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, testing, and deployments in cloud environments.Optimize applications for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency on cloud platforms.Collaboration & Problem-Solving (15%):Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and DevOps, to deliver high-quality software.Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure coding standards and best practices.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.Continuous Improvement (15%):Stay updated with the latest technologies, frameworks, and best practices in full-stack development and cloud computing.Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the evolution of the tech stack.Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.Experience:5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.Proven experience with Angular, Vue, or Blazor for frontend development.Strong programming skills in JavaScript, C#, and Python.Proficiency in database design and optimization with SQL Server and Postgres.Hands-on experience with Azure or GCP for building and deploying cloud applications.Technical Skills:Strong knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.Familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.Preferred Skills:Experience with authentication and authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth, JWT).Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.Knowledge of agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.Experience in regulated industries like healthcare or finance is a plus.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the major job responsibilities (essential functions) of this job.
