Job Summary: About the Role & Program The Lucasfilm Franchise Marketing department currently has an exciting opportunity for an undergraduate student to work as an intern, supporting the legendary Lucasfilm franchises. If selected, you would gain first-hand knowledge in how to manage a global brand as well as how to launch upcoming streaming and theatrical releases.The Franchise Marketing team at Lucasfilm is responsible for maintaining the Star Wars Franchise as a 365 d/y brand. Made of up of a team of experienced marketers, we are responsible for developing the overall brand strategy, planning and execution behind the Star Wars franchise, both domestically and internationally.If selected you would report to the Manager of International Franchise Marketing.What You Will Do Help coordinate events and toolkits as neededBecome acquainted with Lucasfilm’s location and history to help with tours for outside guests and VIPsAssist with presentation prep on PowerPoint & KeynoteHandle asset requests and managementOrganize and maintain storage/swag rooms and inventory listSeamlessly coordinate meeting schedulingParticipate in prize coordination and fulfillmentHelp organize the international team database and documentsComplete a marketing project specific to the team’s current needsRequired Qualifications and SkillsStrong Communication Skills: Comfortable and professional communicating via phone and email with a diverse slate of global professionalsStrong Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Apple Keynote and database managementSkilled in Zoom, Google Meet, Teams for domestic and internation callsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks both efficiently and effectivelyProven track record of both self-directed work and team tasks, paired with a proactive and positive attitudePreferred QualificationsExperience and/or coursework in the film/entertainment industryInterest and/or coursework in International Markets, or International RelationsKnowledge of and respect for the Lucasfilm Franchise and its fansSkilled in social media strategy and engagementActively plugged into entertainment culture and evolving trendsEducationCurrently enrolled as a Junior or Senior, pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or related.Eligibility Requirements & Program InformationCandidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorizationAdditional Information Must be able to work a consistent, reliable full-time work schedule during standard business hours, as well as flexibility to work evening/weekend events as neededThe dates of this internship are June 1st - August 28th, 2026Must provide own housing during the internship program in the San Francisco area and have reliable transportation to/from workThe pay rate for this role in California is $22.50 per hour.
