Irving Park Living and Rehab - Nursing Home is looking for a Certified Dietary Manager to oversee the Dietary Dept and join our team Great working enviorment Purpose of the Position The primary purpose of the position is to assist the Dietitian in planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. Education Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma. Certification as a Dietary Manager (CDM) Experience · 1. Must be a graduate of an approved dietary manager's course. · 2. Strong supervisory and management skills. · 3. Knowledge and experience in long term care facilities. · 4. Knowledge of state and federal regulations. · 5. Knowledge of sanitation standards; possess a sanitation certificate. · 6. Knowledge and experience in developing resident care plans, and the ability to documenting the medical record. · 7.
