Position Description: Baystone Government Finance, a division of KS StateBank (a full-service, multi-state commercial bank), is an established and premier municipal finance provider. The Sales Associate is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties to assist (Officer/Originator) in obtaining and processing requests for financing from potential clients. Serves as an administrative liaison with internal and external contacts.We currently have a full-time position available Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM, working 40 hours per week. Wages start at $22 to 24 per hour. Employee benefits include 401k, health, dental and vision insurance and paid time off.Job Responsibilities:Problem Solving Anticipates, identifies and resolves problems or obstacles Utilizes logical processes to analyze and solve problems Defines the causes, effects, impact and scope of problems Identifies the multiple components of problems and their relationships Develops procedures, processes and systems for order, accuracy, efficiency and productivity Defines and develops criteria for optimum solutions Evaluates the potential impact of possible solutions Looks for specific goals, clearly defined solution paths, and/or clear expected solutions Allows for initial planning including some abstract thinking to come up with creative solutions Understands and defines the problem before jumping to a solutionDetail Oriented Will need to look at multiple of things at once Needs to know what the forms look like Create bid forms and check documents for presence and consistency of details such as: signatures, names, numbers/dollar amounts, rates Watch for consistency among documents in comparison to others in the packet Use resources like: rate sheet, notes both internal and interdepartmental Accurate data entry: know the systems and requirements, be aware of impact on others if incorrect data is entered Consistently achieves desired outcomes with a minimum of avoidable errors and problems Focus block external distractions for long periods of time Follow file requirements: naming digital file, proper structure and contentsCommunication Communicate properly via phone and email Listens and responds to others in a professional and timely matter. Encourages an open expression of ideas, opinions, and feedback Able to utilize proper writing techniques to effectively communicate with clients, managers, and co-workers Able to inform orally and in writing, with clarity and good effect.
