POSITION SUMMARY As a Project Manager at MEAU, you’ll be the central point of contact for key accounts, driving communication and coordination across MEAU teams, distributors, partners, and system integrators. With limited supervision, you’ll deliver project insights that shape strategy and ensure seamless execution from start to finish. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintain deep knowledge of MEAU products, software, control technologies, and network protocols to support Sales, Service, and Marketing. Oversee all aspects of assigned projects—technical and commercial—including third-party contractor management.

Coordinate with and lead cross-functional teams (Sales, Field Application Engineers, Project Engineers) to ensure alignment with project goals. Understand automation needs at key accounts and coordinate with internal departments and the Automotive Program Manager. Manage resources and resolve issues across all phases—design, engineering, programming, installation, and launch. Address customer complaints, track warranty issues, and lead corrective action processes.

Coordinate hardware/software integration and testing, including third-party controls and IT interfaces. Prepare RFQs, quotations, status reports, and functional specifications; review supplier prints and facilitate purchase requisitions. Assist in developing training programs and support OEM delivery and training requirements. Attend engineering meetings, lead equipment run-offs, and resolve technical issues at supplier and customer sites.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Position requires up to 35% travel based on customer demand, primarily with North America   ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience. Combined 5+ years’ experience in Project Management, Sales, Application and / or Engineering with exposure to Mitsubishi products.

Experience

with project management practices. Professional, competent and self-supporting in complex Sales/Support/Project Management situations at large Key Account(s). Ability to motivate individuals by relying on leadership and teamwork characteristics. Ability to develop and maintain in-depth, up-to-date technical knowledge, including the latest MEAU products, and to serve as escalated technical resource (subject matter expert [SME]).

Technical writing skills. Customer service and phone skills. Industrial Automation or Manufacturing experience  Professional, patient, positive, confident communication style and attitude. Ability to write and perform technical product and solution training for groups.

Organizational skills for documents, demos, work area and time management. The target pay range for this position is $110,000-125,000k annually. The listed salary range is approximate and reflects the anticipated compensation for this position as determined by salary analysis; both internal and external to MEAU. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills and experience.
