Nestled in the heart of Kakaako, Honolulu's most vibrant neighborhood, our restaurant has a unique concept, customers visit not only to relax with friends or watch live sports, but also to enjoy an omakase dinner at the sushi bar. If you love watching sports, also would like to deliver an unparalleled dining experience that blends tradition, innovation, and the freshest ingredients, this is your job Responsibilities: As a Kitchen Chef, you will handle all kitchen operations including prep work, cooking, plating, as well as management duties like inventory control and maintaining kitchen sanitation. Handle all prep work and cookingAssist in menu development and testing, contributing new ideas and techniquesSupervise and train kitchen staffMaintain kitchen sanitation and safety standardsParticipate in inventory management and stock preparation Position: Kitchen Chef Employment Type: Full-time Openings: 1 Work Location: Honolulu, Hawaii Hours: 40 hours per week (shift schedule including weekends and holidays) Overtime: Generally, none Pay and Benefits: Compensation: $16-$22 per hour + tips (approx.10-20%)(Determined based on experience, skills, and previous salary)Health insurance401(k)Pay raiseParking providedEmployee discountUniform provided Skills and Qualifications: 3+ years of culinary experienceProven experience in all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and platingKnowledge and practical experience in food hygiene and safety managementAbility to perform well in a fast-paced environmentExcellent customer service skills and etiquetteValid Hawaii Food Handlers CardMust have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalentPassion for cooking and a desire for continuous learning and growth in culinary skills
