JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTSPenn State Beaver Office of Continuing Education is seeking applications from qualified individuals interested in remotely teaching non-credit healthcare classes online. Courses are delivered live via Zoom, typically during evenings or weekends, providing flexibility for both instructors and adult learners.We are currently looking for instructors to teach in the following program areas:Nursing Home Administration (NHA)Personal Care Home Administration (PCHA)Assisted Living AdministrationOther related healthcare continuing education topicsInstructor Responsibilities:Develop, organize, and deliver course content via ZoomEngage adult learners through interactive virtual instructionAdapt course materials to suit diverse adult learning stylesFacilitate discussions, group activities, and case study reviewsProvide timely responses to student questions and feedbackMaintain clear communication with Continuing Education staffStay current with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standardsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or higher preferredRelevant healthcare industry experience or licensure (e.g., NHA, PCHA) strongly preferredPrior experience teaching or training adult learners, especially in a virtual setting, preferredMust be comfortable using Zoom and online teaching toolsCompensation is based on an hourly instructional rateTo Apply:Please submit a letter of application and a resume.
