Description We are seeking reliable and compassionate Student Monitors to transport special needs and handicapped students to and from school. These positions ensure the safety and comfort of students during their commute, adhering to all safety protocols and providing assistance as needed.Pay Rate & Benefits:$15 Per hourAdditional Compensation: $250 Performance Bonus every two weeksPayment: Paid weekly via direct depositBenefits: Comprehensive benefits package includeKey Responsibilities:Aides are required to sit in the back of the vehicle with students.Load and unload students as required.Be knowledgeable and attentive to the unique needs of the students.Communicate effectively with school staff, students, and caregivers.Install and secure students in all approved child safety restraints.Learn the route to direct a substitute driver if needed.Attend all mandatory trainings.Address child safety and behavioral concerns while the vehicle is in motion.Assist students with special needs, including those in wheelchairs or with mobility challenges, in boarding and exiting the vehicle.Follow designated routes and schedules for timely pickups and drop-offs.Ensure the safety of all passengers, using safety equipment and securing students when necessary.Maintain clear communication with school staff, parents, and supervisors.Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and report any issues for repair or maintenance.Qualifications:Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.Ability to pass a criminal background check, Child Abuse History Clearance and any required certifications per our School DistrictsShiftsMonday – Friday (Only) Day TimeMust Be Available to Work between 6:00 AM - 5:00 PMNo Night / No Weekends or Major HolidaysShifts: Drivers will work two Shifts in per day (Split Shift/ Swing Shift)AM Shift: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AMPM Shift: 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM6 - 8 Hours Per Day / 30 - 40 Hour Work WeekExpected hours: 30 – 40 per weekWhy Join Us?Weekly pay via direct deposit.Performance Bonus of $250 every two weeks.No Nights or Weekends, or Major HolidaysRetiree’s Encouraged to apply.Comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being.Opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of special needs students.Application Questions:Are you currently employed?
