Associate Creative Director, Copy

MRM is looking for a conceptual Associate Creative Director, Copy to join our growing team. This person will work closely with the Associate Creative Director, Art, and the Creative team in producing a high-quality creative content for the agency’s healthcare clients. Along with the account service representatives, the Associate Creative Director maintains contact with the client and presents the team’s creative concepts to client representatives. On those accounts under their supervision, the Associate Creative Director provides leadership copywriters, and art directors in partnership with the ACD Art, along with the Creative Director. They work closely with the other disciplines in delivering and exceeding client expectations. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating powerful creative health experiences and fosters creative inspiration and fresh ideation for their team.About the Job·Serve as the copy expert for the assigned brands·Serve as creative team leader to whom other can look to for direction and solutions. ·Develop and produce creative concepts through execution for several brands and/or services ·Bring a fresh approach to day-to-day projects to inspire direct reports and clients alike·Proactively suggest creative strategies to ensure copy team delivers high quality, accurate work that follows all regulatory guidelines·Work with all functional areas to ensure the work is expressing a compelling single-minded idea·Participate, and lead, in client presentations, verbalizing the thoughts behind the idea while tying it back to the communication/design objective·Take an active role in client discussions and internal and external meetings to ensure creative and strategic alignment·Help client(s) understand and internalize criteria by which creative product should be assessed·Manage the successful financial landscape for assigned brands, including reviewing, and providing input on scopes, hours, and staff·Identify staffing needs and potential new hire recruits·Help shape the careers of assigned direct reports and stand as a strong mentor inspiring award-winning creative excellence·Stay up to date on latest trends, talent, and competitive work ·Volunteers for important creative opportunities within the agency, and network·Support Creative Director in all requestsAbout You·A self-starter and leader, with 7-8 years of pharmaceutical copy supervisory experience within a fast-paced agency setting·Healthcare copywriting experience is required, HCP experience preferred·An award-worthy creative portfolio, featuring innovative data-driven digital solutions, and compelling copy and storytelling, included with your application ·Previous leadership experience·Solid presentations skills·Proven ability to engage in creative conversations internally and with clients·Motivated to seek/gain additional creative opportunities and/or work on new business pitches·Proactive about expanding knowledge of trends so you can share new ideas with your teamAbout MRMMRM is a modern relationship marketing agency that delivers transformative creative solutions at the intersection of business, culture, and technology.
