Job DescriptionThis job operates in a lab environment with equipment such as analytical balances, food homogenization equipment, pipetting tools, incubators, water baths, plate readers, various commercial protein and DNA based technologies for food pathogen detection (VIDAS, BAX, GDS, GeneUp, BioRAd), spectrophotometer, VITEK Microbial Identification System, basic wet chemistry equipment for analysis of moisture, protein, fat, ash, salt.Handles samples and performs analyses according to Operating Procedures and test methodologyMaintains and verifies equipmentReports deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisorMaintains records of all quality activities as documented in Operating Procedures and test methodsIdentifies and records nonconformities on Corrective Action Requests.Relocation net pay allowance: We offer relocation assistance for this role, you will receive a lump sum relocation amount to assist with moving to the area of your work location.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Este trabajo se realiza en un entorno de laboratorio con equipos como balanzas analíticas, equipos de homogeneización de alimentos, herramientas de pipeteo, incubadoras, baños de agua, lectores de placas, diversas tecnologías comerciales basadas en proteínas y ADN para la detección de patógenos en alimentos (VIDAS, BAX, GDS, GeneUp, BioRAd), espectrofotómetro, sistema de identificación microbiana VITEK, equipos básicos de química húmeda para el análisis de humedad, proteínas, grasa, ceniza y sal.Maneja muestras y realiza análisis de acuerdo con los Procedimientos de Operación y la metodología de pruebaMantiene y verifica el equipoInforma de deficiencias o malfunciones al supervisorMantiene registros de todas las actividades de calidad según lo documentado en los Procedimientos Operativos y métodos de prueba.Identifica y registra las no conformidades en las Solicitudes de Acción Correctiva.Asignación de neto de pago por reubicación: Ofrecemos asistencia para la reubicación para este puesto, usted recibirá una suma global de reubicación para ayudar con la mudanza a la zona de su lugar de trabajo.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Microbiology and related field or commercial laboratory experience - Required--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Título universitario en Microbiología y campo relacionado o experiencia laboral en laboratorio comercial - Requerido
