Start your exciting new career with a strong and stable company. Job SummaryPerforms all automotive tire repairs, changes, balancing, rotations and TPMS procedures. Performs basic automotive maintenance functions. Great growth and career opportunities. Responsibilities Reviews repair order requests and makes visual inspection of vehicles to determine the extent of tire service requirements and materials needed Performs tire replacement or minor maintenance services Installs valve stem and tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as required. Mounts tire on wheel assembly and inflates tires as required Test tire balances to ensure proper weight placement Performs short road test to ensure proper installation Performs basic automotive maintenance functions such as oil and fluid changes. Complies with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy, OSHA and EPA regulations Desired Qualifications High school graduate, comparable vocational training or 6 months of tire technician experience Preferred Experience: Familiarity with tire and lube requirements and specifications Knowledge of tire requirements to include use of wheel balancers, tire specifications, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems and some drivability diagnostic experience Certifications: Prefer TIA Automotive Tire Service (ATS) 200.
