Must have: Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor  Ability to work in inclement weather  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.  Ability to follow written and verbal instructions  Ability to comprehend and comply to safety practices  Ability to maintain effective relationships with customers, employees and supervisors Any combination of experience and training related to medium to heavy manual labor. Some experience in residential trash, recycle and yard waste collection procedures and routes. Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to completion of the tenth grade. Qualifications Ability to read, understand, and implement instructions Ability to perform medium to heavy manual labor  Ability to work in inclement weather  Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.  Ability to follow written and verbal instructions  Ability to comprehend and comply to safety practices  Ability to maintain effective relationships with customers, employees and supervisors Any combination of experience and training related to medium to heavy manual labor. Residential collection of trash, recycle, and yard waste on established routes Rides on a platform on the rear of collection truck between stops, frequently stepping off and on the step Empties trash and recycle carts into truck using cart lift Operates compaction mechanism on trash truck Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Assist driver with various task during collections, safe backing Daily task to include cleaning facilities, removing trash and litter based on assignment Ability to work in a team environment
