PCBA Rework Operator- 1st shift

Kelly Services is seeking a skilled PCBA Rework Operator in Melbourne This role requires hands-on electronic assembly and repair expertise, focused on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs). (must have an active IPC 7711 or 7721 & J-STD-001) Shift & Pay rates: 1st Shift: Mon-Fri (1 Sat. a month)/7:00am-3:30pm $20.00 hour (negotiable DOE) Possible Overtime available Why you should apply to be a Rework Operator: Temp to Hire Weekends off Weekly Pay   What’s a typical day as a Rework Operator? You’ll be: Perform manual rework, repairs, and modifications on PCBAs following assembly procedures and visual aids. Verify integrity of materials; identify and replace damaged or faulty components (resistors, capacitors, connectors, sockets, etc.). Solder and de-solder electronic components; repair soldering mistakes in specific PCB locations. Handle mechanical assembly, wire additions, and modifications per procedure, ECOs, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics. Perform advanced repair techniques (e.g., solder wick, epoxy, repair of etches/pads/vias, BGA removal/replacement). Pre-form component leads according to IPC standards. Ensure all work meets strict quality standards and maintains ESD integrity. Work from schematics, blueprints, and instructions (written or verbal). Maintain a clean work area and may assist in training other employees. Other tasks as directed by management. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Required Certifications: IPC 7711 or 7721, J-STD-001 current or previously held. (An IPC-A-610 is also preferred but not required) Minimum 5 years’ experience in electronics assembly and PCBA rework/inspection. Proficiency in advanced soldering and de-soldering techniques. Strong understanding of electronic component value identification and nomenclature. Knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO 13485 standards. ESD training and experience in ESD-protected environments. Ability to read and interpret schematics, test procedures, and instructions. Experience working in high-volume manufacturing settings. Willing and able to work flexible hours as business needs arise.
