We’re seeking a Senior Product Manager, AI Platform & Machine Learning Operations to own the foundation that powers all Filevine AI products. This role ensures our AI infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient while meeting strict compliance and data integrity standards. What You’ll Do As the Senior Product Manager for AI Platform & ML Ops, you’ll: Build and scale the AI foundation that enables every AI-driven feature at Filevine. Audit and optimize model usage, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and fine-tuned local models—managing inference, latency, and compute efficiency. Establish visibility and control over token spend, API costs, and compute utilization, ensuring responsible scaling as adoption grows. Define standards for data ingestion, ensuring clean, secure, and compliant flow of sensitive information (case files, documents, etc.) into AI pipelines. Create a unified framework for managing prompts, models, and configurations—so teams can safely experiment, reuse, and improve over time. Ensure compliance and governance, maintaining tenant data isolation and alignment with PII, CJIS, and GDPR requirements. Set ML product baselines for accuracy, precision, latency, and cost; monitor real-world performance and track improvement over time. Build monitoring dashboards to detect model drift, bias, or degradation due to upstream API changes. Design operational processes for feedback collection, retraining data pipelines, and “safe launch” playbooks (A/B testing, pilot groups, rollback plans). Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to ensure all AI capabilities are reliable, measurable, and improving in production. Map extensibility pathways so internal teams and external partners can build on Filevine’s AI platform without reinventing infrastructure. What We’re Looking For 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS, ideally with deep exposure to AI/ML infrastructure, MLOps, or platform products. Strong understanding of LLM-based architectures, inference optimization, and monitoring of production AI systems. Experience managing the lifecycle of ML models—training, deployment, performance tracking, and feedback loops. Proven ability to balance cost, compliance, and performance across multi-tenant systems. Excellent communication skills and ability to align technical decisions with business outcomes. Experience in compliance-heavy industries (legal tech, fintech, health tech) preferred. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field—or equivalent experience.
