Position: Short Term Planner Location: St. Louis, MO Job Id: 125 # of Openings: 1 SHORT TERM PLANNER The Short Term Planner reports to the Maintenance Control Manager and is responsible for: 1. Interfacing with Dispatch, Maintenance Planning and Maintenance Control to route aircraft for maintenance. 2. Plan Short Term maintenance: MELs NEFs C/Os CDLs 3. Interfacing with Maintenance at all stations for troubleshooting of MELs, NEFs, and C/Os as required. Timely troubleshooting should be accomplished the same day of the deferral begin added. This will, at time, be required the following day and every effort should be made to comply with troubleshooting within one day after a deferral has been added. 4. Interfacing with Asset Management to ensure all required parts are available for MELs, NEFs and C/Os when they are scheduled. 5. Interfacing with Asset Management to track part movements between stations. 6. Reviewing the CDL, NEF, MEL and Carryover list daily to ensure compliance of time requirements for parts request and purchasing information, in accordance with the GMM procedure from both Maintenance and the Asset Management areas (GMM1 CH 31.8, MEL SEC 1, NEF SEC 1). 7. Coordinate work load with Maintenance at stations where work is scheduled to ensure proper manpower is available. Follow-up on tasks not completed. 8. Coordinate with outside vendors as necessary. 9. Interfacing with the In-House Tech Rep for troubleshooting MELs, NEFs, and C/Os to quickly add parts and to reduce repeat maintenance. 10. Perform other duties as assigned. Apply for this Position
