Part-Time to Full-Time Nanny – Short-Term Position ASAP - June 16th

A lovely family with a 6-month-old baby is seeking a nurturing, active, and professional nanny to begin part-time immediately, transitioning to a short-term full-time position in June. They are hoping for a nanny who is willing to get to know their family by working part-time/flexible hours before starting the short-term position.  The family has never had a nanny before and is looking for someone trustworthy, experienced, and reliable.

Compensation: $28–$32/hour
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule:

  • Part-Time (ASAP – June 4): the family would love someone who is willing to get to know their family prior to transitioning to the full-time temp position.  Ideally, 2–3 days a week.  Willing to be VERY flexible with hours

  • Full-Time (June 5 – June 16): Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and developmentally appropriate care for a 6-month-old
  • Support routines including feeding, naps, and play
  • Engage the baby in walks and outdoor activities
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment for the child
  • Assist with light tidying related to the baby's care

Qualifications:

  • Experienced with infants
  • Energetic and physically able to take walks and keep up with a baby
  • Clean, organized, and proactive
  • Spanish-speaking is a plus
  • Comfortable working with parents who work from home
  • Pet-friendly (family has two Australian Shepherds)
  • Comfortable in a home with a pool (no swimming required, but must be safety-conscious)
  • Provide 3-5 professional references
  • Must have U.S. work authorization
