What you'll do:

We are seeking a talented and entrepreneurial-minded individual who is passionate about executing best in class product management and digital experiences to join the Western Alliance Bank's growing Card Product Management Team in the role of Card Product Analyst. The Card Product Analyst will assist Card Product Manager(s) and other Card Product staff, Card Sales executive leadership and others with managing all card products including reporting, audit and compliance adherence, vendor management, policy and procedure development and adherence and more. Research, analyze, evaluate, report and communicate internal and external data and product performance for card products.

What we are looking for:

Data Integrity, Reporting and Card Product Performance Management Develop, manage, analyze, present and discuss reporting of key Card product metrics including revenue and interchange, transaction volumes, pricing, trends, profitability, service quality and other key measurements. Product Development, Product Enhancement, Policy, Audit and Internal Controls Assist the Card Product Managers, Operations, Sales and IT teams with designing, developing and enhancing card products, ensuring product compliance with internal policy and controls and applicable regulations. Provide communication and training and approvals processes thereof.  Assist with managing third-party vendors, internal and external systems, system updates, changes, processes and system affects, and creating and reporting management metrics for assigned products to leadership. Participate as a member of the product team. Fully engage in the product, project, approval, audit and other processes followed by the Bank. Function as a subject matter expert on all assignments, duties, products and other matters in support of internal and external partners. Constantly strive to make a difference.  Particular focus includes data and reporting integrity, timeliness, correctness and deep and detailed focus on all tasks, partners, team members and customers.  Be well-connected to Product Managers, card and line sales officers and leadership to meet all needs in a timely manner and with 100% accuracy.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Data Management as a minimum. 1-3 years of experience in banking and financial services or data management.  Equivalent combination of experience and education acceptable. 1-3 years of experience in Banking, Finance, Treasury Management, Card Services/Card Issuance and/or Product Management/Development background preferred, with the ability to concurrently manage and execute against multiple tasks, projects, people simultaneously.  Skills in excel and tableau, Microsoft products, systems and data analysis, flexibility in managing multiple and differing systems simultaneously. Project management processes. Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Detail-oriented, with ability to influence, collaborate and communicate across all levels and lines of business, internal resources and external vendors
