Education High School Experience 4-7 years Additional Information BENEFITS Medical, dental, and vision insurance Long and short-term disability and life insurance Matching 401(k) plan & profit sharing Paid vacation & holidays Employee purchase program Employee events and recognitions such as service awards, holiday parties, food truck Fridays, etc. A friendly, professional work environment Opportunities to advance within the company TECHNICIAN SPECIFIC BENEFITS State-of-the-art shop Discounts on products and services Career advancement opportunities, promote from within ASE and state inspection certification reimbursement and all training expenses paid to further your career Continued education, manufacturer hands-on and web-based training Clean and professional work environment Competitive wages Key Responsibilities: Accurately diagnose vehicle issues using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic tools and software Perform advanced mechanical and electrical repairs, including engine, transmission, steering, suspension, HVAC, and drivability issues Complete manufacturer-recommended maintenance services including fluid exchanges, tune-ups, brake service, and alignments Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and document findings and recommendations clearly and accurately Review and interpret service bulletins, technical data, and repair procedures Maintain strong communication with service advisors to ensure customers receive timely and transparent updates Test drive vehicles before and after repairs to verify concerns and ensure quality of work Maintain shop equipment and personal tools in safe working condition Mentor and support entry-level technicians and apprentices as needed Ensure all repairs and documentation comply with dealership, manufacturer, and regulatory standards Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay current with evolving technology and service practices Perform other duties as assigned to support department or dealership operations QUALIFICATIONS 2+ years of experience in automotive diagnostics, repair, and maintenance (dealership experience preferred) ASE certifications or manufacturer training credentials strongly preferred Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools and service information systems Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail and commitment to safety Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and procedures Excellent time management and teamwork skills Valid driver’s license with clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required Must pass pre-employment background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check, and drug screening
