A CT Technologist position is available in Cranston, RI, offering a 13-week contract with a focused schedule of night shifts (Thursday, Friday, Saturday from 7 PM to 7:30 AM). This role centers on performing imaging primarily within the emergency room setting, utilizing advanced equipment such as Siemens Definition AS+, GE VCT 64 Slice, and Medrad injectors. Experience with EPIC and GE PACS systems is highly beneficial.Required Qualifications and Experience: Registered Technologist credentials RT(R)(CT) Valid Rhode Island license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Proven experience operating Siemens Definition AS+, GE VCT 64 Slice CT scanners Knowledge of Medrad injectors and proficiency with EPIC or GE PACS systems is a plus Compliance with hospital's vaccination policy: COVID, booster, and flu vaccines required (medical declination accepted only for booster; no religious exemptions) Responsibilities Include: Conduct high-quality CT imaging in an emergency room environment Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to safety protocols Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate diagnostics Adhere to hospital dress code: scrubs only, no hooded sweatshirts Maintain timely and complete imaging records Additional Details: Work schedule is three 12-hour night shifts per week, totaling 40 hours No call responsibilities Free parking available on-site Immediate start date About Cranston, RI:Cranston is a vibrant city offering a suburban feel with close proximity to urban amenities.
