Responsibilities:
Lead efforts to support the company's internal control and compliance objectives. Complete risk-based auditing, understand Sarbanes-Oxley requirements, use risk and control frameworks and apply process improvement models. Work with external audit firms. Support risk assessment and audit plan development. Recommend changes to the audit plan and scheduled audits. Provide direction for audit projects and ensure work is completed in accordance with the IIA Professional Practices Framework. Mitigate identified risks and control deficiencies by ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Provide timely information on the state of organizational risk and the internal control environment. Communicate compliance requirements to leadership teams and provide strategies that can be used to meet the requirements. Lead efforts to attract, develop and retain internal audit associates.Skills and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or economics. A minimum of 8 years of audit experience at a public company or a global professional services firm required. A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience required. CPA, CIA or CISA required. Excellent leadership skills.Pay and benefits:
