Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or GED Note: some of our partner districts require paraeducators to be highly qualified. We will let you know if this is the case for your selected district. To be considered highly qualified, you must either have completed 60+ college credits/Associates degree OR pass the ParaPro Assessment. We are happy to help direct you on how to complete the ParaPro Assessment, if needed. These plans are not sponsored by Kelly. Responsibilities: Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported. Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions. Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher's aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.
