(Hyundai, Mori, Yugi, HAAS) Department Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring efficient workflow, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with time-keeping and performance management procedures. Employee Management: Oversee employee performance, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to support team development and productivity. Training & Development: Assist with onboarding and training of new employees, as well as provide ongoing education and skill development for the team. Order Management: Expedite and prioritize shop orders through the department to meet production schedules and customer requirements. What You'll Bring: Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment. Technical Expertise: Preferred experience in one or more of the following areas: welding, metal fabrication, or machining, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints. Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to motivate, guide, and develop team members to achieve individual and collective goals. Shop Floor Presence: Ability to maintain a consistent and active presence on the shop floor, spending approximately 2/3 of the shift overseeing operations.
