Maintenance Planner

Job Summary Maintains SAP Equipment and Parts. Essential Functions Process work requests and work orders Prepare and define work orders Identify materials, parts and labor for work orders Coordinate equipment shut downs Compile requisitions and other parts acquisition documents Maintain and file blue prints and equipment manuals and equipment history files Work with computers and various software including SAP Coordinate employee training Leadership abilities and the respect from the crafts person Maintains Part Inventory Order Parts Set Min. and Max. Levels on Inventory Update Equipment list Data entry for work orders and inventory Cycle counts and inventory updates Stock management including receiving and parts check out SAP system maintenance Complete office filing, manage incoming / outgoing paperwork Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct. Qualifications Must possess a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality Ability to stand and walk the entire shift if needed Ability to read and write instructions in English Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required Handle multiple tasks simultaneously Must have the knowledge in crafts to be planned Must have the ability to plan work and foresee problems Must understand job planning, budgeting, and customer needs Typical Physical Activity Physical Demands The physical demands described represent those that must be met by an employee and the work environment characteristics are those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
