In this role you have the opportunity to
Perform a wide variety of electronic or mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or subassemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units. Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Perform the various tasks necessary to assemble electronic assemblies for production. Perform assembly and installation steps for the components required in production assemblies. This includes the documentation necessary to track the traveler and the assembler's performance.
You are responsible for
Assembling mechanical sub-systems integrating electronic components from work instructions and assembly drawingsThe manipulation of items using a variety of toolsFunctional Testing of sub-systems following Manufacturing Test ProceduresMaintaining logs and paperwork and forms accuratelyOperating and troubleshoots production line machinery and computersContinuously meeting/exceeding production schedules and deadlines according to quality standardsSelf-monitoring of workmanshipUnderstanding and following all safety requirements, as well as ISO Practices and ProceduresOther duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent3 or more years of experience in the electronics assembly field is required, including sub-system mechanical assembliesESD knowledgeablePreferred Qualifications:
Follow detailed written and verbal instructionsMechanical Assembly skills, including the ability to recognize non-conformitiesFollow Manufacturing Test Procedures functionally testing product, including Hi-Pot testingProblem solving skillsAbility to multi-task and work in a flexible and changing environment with multiple competing deadlinesEnthusiastic, cooperative, and positive behavior"This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
