Or equivalent experience.3+ years of relevant environmental experience, including field work, report writing, and safety training.Strong commitment to safety and adherence to Health & Safety protocols.Willingness and ability to perform full‑day field work while standing or walking.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience documenting detailed technical data.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.Strong attention to detail with analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.Ability to multi‑task, stay flexible, travel for multi‑week assignments, and operate with minimal supervision.Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area. 40‑hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification required.This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.PreferredGIT or EIT certification preferred; PG or PE a plus.Local candidates preferred; regional and relocation‑interested candidates also considered.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct field activities, including:Soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, soil vapor, and indoor air samplingAquifer testing, drilling oversight, and soil loggingSoil boring and monitoring well installationWell development, purging, and samplingRemedial and wastewater treatment pilot testsOperation and maintenance of remedial systemsOversee subcontractors and assist with remediation and construction management.Perform Phase I and II environmental assessments for property transfer support.Compile, evaluate, and interpret environmental data; assist with detailed technical reports.Prepare environmental compliance plans, permits, and remediation‑related documentation.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Deliver within established quality, budget, and schedule expectations.Communicate effectively with subcontractors, regulators, clients, and site tenants during fieldwork.As the largest global pure play sustainability consultancy, we partner with the world’s leading organizations, creating innovative solutions to sustainabilitychallengesand unlocking commercial opportunities that meet the needs of today while preserving opportunity for future generations.At ERM we know that creating a diverse,equitableand inclusive work environment is an essential part of making our companya great placeto build a career.
