Additionally, you will earn excellent benefits, including:Sign-on bonusPaid vacationPaid time offPerformance-based bonusesFlexible hoursThis Mobile Diesel Mechanic works a consistent schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.YOUR DAY AS A DIESEL TECHNICIANEach day as a Diesel Technician is spent diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on diesel and gas vehicles, keeping them in peak condition. You handle electrical and mechanical work, install parts, and solve problems on the spot. Also, you drive our mobile van to breakdown sites, coordinate with the service writer, log your completed work, and keep your tools and van ready for the next call.WHAT'S REQUIRED?High school diploma or equivalentASE certificationDOT certificationKnowledge of compliance requirements2+ years of diesel mechanic experience OR technical school trainingValid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to work outdoors in all weatherAbility to lift 75 lbs and provide own toolsCDL preferredIf you're a team player who takes pride in your work and delivers excellent service, you'll thrive hereWHO WE AREAt Vortex Fleet Services, we keep light- to medium-duty vehicle fleets running strong with expert mobile and roadside repair.
