The Monarch at Brooklyn Rehabilitation and Nursing Center - Dietary Aide New York Congregational Nursing Center is now hiring a full-time Dietary Aide. We are a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility that is dedicated to helping our residents maximize their potential and live their lives to the fullest. It is also a great, supportive working environment for our dedicated staff Responsibilities of the Dietary Aide: Assist in identified aspects of food preparation. Handle food and equipment responsibly according to sanitation policies and procedures Deliver food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas as instructed by supervisor. Provide an enhanced dining service, serving meals in dining rooms and preparing and delivering snacks as directed. Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures. Requirements of the Dietary Aide: High School Diploma/GED Required. Must have experience working in a healthcare facility, 1 year preferred. Must have experience working a tray line, 1 year preferred.  Ability to follow diet lists, portion food as specified and serve food in an appetizing manner.
