Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Healthcare Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule:DayTimeMon01:00 PM - 08:00 PMTue02:45 PM - 08:00 PMWed01:00 PM - 08:00 PMThur02:45 PM - 08:00 PMFri01:00 PM - 08:00 PMSat08:30 AM - 04:00 PMWhy Join Us:Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more.Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities.Financial and Health Benefits: Enjoy access to a retirement savings plan, plus medical, dental, vision, basic life and AD&D, and disability insurance.Exclusive Perks: Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program.What You'll Do:Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the healthcare location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order at the location.Document observations, incidents, and activities in detailed and accurate reports as required by Allied Universal and site management.Work closely with staff, visitors, and patients to provide assistance and maintain a professional presence at the location.Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or requests for assistance in a timely and appropriate manner.Minimum Requirements:An armed guard card or license is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
