The Carolina Union Student Organization (CUSO) Purchasing Officer will work as member of the Carolina Union Business and Finance team. The Carolina Union Business and Finance Team provides finance and business services for the Carolina Union, and Carolina Union Student Organizations. The CUSO Purchasing Officer primarily serves as a resource for CUSO. Responsibilities include facilitation and management of day-to-day transactions for student organizations, including ensuring transactions are recorded properly and student organizations are staying within the allocated amounts of the budget. This position is responsible to the Carolina Union and Student Government for accurate and up-to-date maintenance of records and transactions made. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience * Demonstrated ability to follow guidelines, regulations, and policies and the ability to interpret and explain routine policies and procedures in a clear and consistent manner to customers.
* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the use of personal computer, word processing and Excel spreadsheets.
