Mechanical Engineer Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer/Designer for a Project Manager role. The Project Manager will focus on design and production of construction drawings (using Autocad), working from start to finish on MEP/commercial building projects. Requirements: Minimum of Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering 6-10 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering 5+ years of recent experience working on commercial building/MEP projects EIT or PE is a plus, but not required. Proficiency in Autocad, MS Office (Word and Excel), ComCheck and other energy code forms. Responsibilities: Initiate project start-up, manages and hands on production for document preparation, and coordinates construction administration activities. Assume primary responsibility for the project’s financial success, quality of documents, delivery of service to the client, and schedule performance. Act as primary designer on projects Production of construction drawings using Autocad on all projects assigned. Serves in a more external client facing role.
