Your skills and commitment will be celebrated, and you will have the opportunity to be a part of the thrilling world of entertainment in one of the nation's premier venues.Our Cooks will assume grill or line responsibilities within the kitchen requiring attention to detail for food preparation.Cook: $ 19.00/hourEssential Responsibilities:Utilize proper recipes, equipment, tools and utensilsEnsure that food is prepared, portioned, held and served at correct temperatures and presented according to standardsAssist in coordinating the flow of work within the culinary department to maximize quality and efficiencyQualifications & Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent and experience in food preparation in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and in a high stress, fast paced environmentMust be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility in an often tightly quartered environment.Have the ability to bend and lift up to 30 pounds frequentlyHours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidaysWhat We Offer:Competitive compensationPaid WeeklyTeam Meal ProvidedFlexible and dynamic work environmentCountless opportunities to grow within the companyAccess to ongoing training and development programs Venue Information: The Indiana Convention Center is a major convention center located in Downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. The original structure was completed in 1972 and has undergone five expansions. In total, there are 71 meeting rooms, 11 exhibit halls, and three multi-purpose ballrooms. Now one of the largest convention centers in America, the Indiana Convention Center is connected by skywalks to more hotel rooms than any other city in the nation.
