We are hiring an Operations Manager / Deputy PM for an exciting opportunity located in Stennis Space Center, MS.This project provides comprehensive support for Enterprise Monitoring (both CONUS and OCONUS) of Government systems including Critical Incident Management, Engineering and Infrastructure Implementation, Operational Support, end-to-end Performance Monitoring and Alerting, Dashboard development and Management, Reporting, and conducting Performance and Capacity Assessment, Monitoring, and Planning.Job Description and ResponsibilitiesESM is looking for a full-time Operations Manager / Deputy PM who demonstrates the following capabilities and satisfies the Minimum Qualifications, Clearance, and Certification requirements. Employee responsibilities include:Provide high-quality project and program management standards across the whole project lifecycleAdvise clients on the project cost, program, risks and issuesLead and manage multidisciplinary professional teamsPlan, initiate, and manage IT projectsLead and guide the work of technical staffServe as liaison between business and technical aspects of projectsPlan project stages and assess business implications for each stageMonitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are metRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)Excellent team skills, must be thorough, must have excellent communications skills, written and verbalAbility to work in a dynamic cross-organizational team environmentStrong dedication to provide quality customer serviceStrong problem solving skills including the ability to quickly identify the cause of issues with the system or determine if other teams need to be included in resolving an issueAbility to prioritize tasks and adhere to established deadlinesTake ownership of tasks and deliver without supervision while using their discretion to seek help necessaryDesired KSABe a positive, self-motivated, and proactive person able to adapt to change and tolerate stressful situationsCandidate must communicate effectively with team members, management, and government customerAbility and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervisionMinimum Training, Education, and CertificationsMinimum of 5+ years of IT Project Management experienceBachelor's Degree or 10+ years IT experience Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certificationCertification in at least one of the following: CCNP; CCIE; MCITP/MCSE CISSP or equivalentMinimum ClearanceMust be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated background investigation commensurate with access to DHS/USCIS sensitive informationPhysical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, walk for extended periods of timeAbility to use a computerAdditional RequirementsMust be U.S. citizen Other duties as assignedESM provides equal employment opportunity to all individuals regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation, national origin or ancestry, disability, genetic information, veteran status, gender identification or any other characteristic protected by state, federal or local law.
