This role prepares both hot and cold foods for banquets and events while cooking and presenting dishes in line with recipes, quality standards, and presentation expectations. The Banquet Cook operates kitchen equipment-including ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers-safely and effectively, and monitors food to ensure proper cooking temperatures and consistent quality. Additional responsibilities include setting up and breaking down banquet kitchen workstations, maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, and monitoring food and appliance temperatures. The Banquet Cook is expected to follow all company safety, sanitation, and security policies, collaborate with the culinary and banquet teams to ensure timely service, and perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisors. Preferred QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or GED equivalent.Experience: At least 2-3 years of related cooking experience, preferably in banquets or high-volume kitchens.Experience in a private club or other fine dining restaurants.
