Job descriptionBusiness type Types of Jobs - Risk Management / Control Job title VP - RPC Project Finance Credit Analyst Contract type Permanent Contract Job summary Summary:To support Counterparty Risk Analysis’ role covering the following industries and transaction types: i) principally Project Finance in the Americas; and (ii) certain corporate borrowers.Key Responsibilities:Job duties include but are not limited to:Reviews credit applications for completeness, consistency with internal policies, and follows up as needed with Front Office.Performs impartial analysis of the borrower, group and transaction structure based on review of term sheet, market study, financial model, legal due diligence, and independent engineer report.Reviews in detail and/or prepare internal rating models (Anadefi), making corrections as needed.Drafts RPC Opinions, meeting deadlines responsibly.Makes recommendations in consultation with Sector Credit Officer regarding exposure, ratings, and structure. Verifies the accuracy of data in CACIB internal risk systems including Phidias, Eurecca, SIS, SMAC, and Anadefi.Completes timely all internal risk systems.Coordinates with Paris questions, which may arise in credit proposal and analyses for files which are under Head Office delegation.Responds to requests from Loan Review and internal and external auditors. Completes special assignments and ad hoc projects requested by CA-CIB NY and or RPC Paris.Back-up analyst on files in other teams and sectors as the need arises.Salary Range: $150K-$175K#LI-DNI Position location Geographical area America, United States Of America City NEW YORK Candidate criteria Minimal education level Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent Academic qualification / Speciality Education Essential: BA and business courses in relevant filed Education Desirable: MBA or equivalent in finance Level of minimal experience 6-10 years Experience Experience Essential: Minimum seven years of credit or finance experience preferably at a bank or rating agencyExperience Desirable: Experience with structured or project finance Required skills Competencies Essential: Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word skillsCompetencies Desirable: Knowledge of CA-CIB's systems and proceduresSkills and Knowledge Essential: Strong work ethicsStrong English written and oral communication skillsLucid and concise writingSelf-reliantDetail orientedSkills and Knowledge Desirable: Fluent in Spanish Other relevant information: Ability to work with both Paris and New York operational and front office.
