If you thrive on detail, enjoy working with your hands, and take pride in flawless finishes, this role puts you at the heart of our quality promise.Is this you?Do you know your way around hand grinders, deburring tools, and finishing equipment?Can you read blueprints, follow work instructions, and hit tight quality specs?Are tools like calipers and micrometers second nature for verifying dimensions?Do you enjoy collaborating with machinists, welders, and inspectors to meet production targets?Your impactGrind, deburr, and edge-finish precision sheet metal parts to remove burrs and sharp edges.Deliver consistent finishes that align with customer and industry standards.Perform visual and tactile checks to ensure smooth, defect-free surfaces.Maintain equipment cleanliness and performance; follow rigorous safety practices with PPE.Handle and dispose of metal shavings and dust per environmental guidelines.Assist with material handling and organize parts within the finishing area.Support cross-training and jump in on other production tasks when needed.What you’ll need to succeed1+ year of grinding/deburring/metal finishing in manufacturing preferred.Background in precision sheet metal is a plus.High school diploma or GED preferred.Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and independent work habits.Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across teams.Work conditionsStanding for long periods; bending, reaching; lifting up to 50 lbs.; repetitive motions.Production environment with metal dust, noise, and temperature variation.Regular coordination with production, engineering, quality, and management.PPE (gloves, safety glasses, respirators) required.Schedule, pay, and benefitsHours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – FridayHours: 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM, Monday – FridaySome flexibility may be required based on production needsHourly Rate: $18 - $24 per hourBenefits include shared-cost health care, paid holidays, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match after a waiting period.Proficiencies we valueTroubleshooting SkillsDeburring ExperienceMachine Setups for Production RunsExcellent Communication SkillsShop Math SkillsBlueprint ReadingAdditional InformationThis job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee filling this position.
