As a Level 1 Trauma Center, our dedicated team is expertly trained in the management of acute and urgent trauma as well as electively scheduled procedures for both the pediatric and adult populations. We set a standard of excellence in Orthopedics and Neurosurgery with access to advanced technologies including Surgical Theatre, robotic assisted, endoscopic, and minimally invasive surgeries. Full-time, part-time regular and casual positions are available. Surgical Tech level is based on years of experience. The advanced capabilities and clinical expertise within this center have earned it Magnet designation four consecutive times and has the distinct honor of housing Michigan’s first Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence.Scope of workThe Surgical Technologist II will be responsible for maintaining and preparing the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and evaluation of changing conditions during the surgical procedures, and making appropriate responses as needed. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols.
