We’re a firm that works hard, celebrates wins, supports one another, and never settles for “good enough.” If you thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment where your contribution is celebrated and valued, you’ll feel right at home here.Compensation:$140,000+ yearly DOEResponsibilities:What You’ll DoManage litigation matters from inception through pre-trial, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, and motion practiceDraft, review, and argue motions (dispositive and non-dispositive) in state and federal courtsDiscovery: Conducting and managing the discovery process, including taking and defending depositionsDevelop and implement case strategies in consultation with clients and senior attorneysParticipate in settlement negotiations, mediation, and arbitration proceedingsConduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and advisory opinionsMaintain regular, proactive communication with clients, property managers, and board membersCollaborate with colleagues on high-profile cases and firm initiativesAttend occasional board meetings to provide litigation updates or guidanceCase Management: Overseeing cases from inception to resolution, including strategy development and client advisementCourt Appearances: Representing clients in court, including trials, hearings, and mediationsQualifications:Who You AreAdmitted to practice law in New York State5+ years of relevant litigation experience with strong pre-trial experienceFamiliarity with community association law, zoning, and local regulatory frameworks is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical and organizational abilitiesClient-focused with an ability to manage multiple matters simultaneouslyComfortable working independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environmentAbout CompanySchneider Buchel LLP is a fast-growing, enterprising law firm specializing in community associations, real estate, and commercial litigation.
