SUMMARY: The APP in this position will work with the Interventional Radiologist. The APP will document progress notes in both the hospital and clinic EMR. He/she will perform assessments on new admissions, consults, patients presenting to the emergency department, and make rounds on established patients. This position requires a thorough knowledge and understanding of Interventional Radiology as it is related to his/her assigned specialty. In addition, this position requires interpersonal skills to relate to the physician, patient, family members, ancillary personnel, and hospital personnel in a professional and appropriate manner. Required Education/Training: Graduate from an accredited program Required Experience: One (1) plus years of experience Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current Missouri Registered Professional Nurse; current Missouri Advanced Practice Registered Nurse status Preferred Experience: Experience working with a Neurologist in a hospital-based and office-based environment Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
