Applicants must be able to work directly for UNIVERSAL Technologies.Position: The Data Analyst will turn raw data into information and insights. The Analyst will collaborate with the client’s Operations team, report to the Chief Operating Officer, provide recommendations, and assist with presentations. WHAT WE OFFER:Our W2 employees can expect the following benefits:· Competitive pay · Health/Dental Insurance · Group Life Insurance · 401K· HSA/FSA · Pre-Tax Transportation Program · Generous Paid Time Off/Holiday PolicyMANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:· 2+ years Functional Analyst experience.· Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Technology, Computer Programming & Software Development, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent work experience.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively tailor technical concepts for less technical audiences.· Strong problem solving and analytical skills.· Well-developed logical structure approach to solving problems, framing ideas, or developing plans.· Demonstrated knowledge of digital skills via certificates and/or certifications. · Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI/Tableau, ETL Tools.· Experience with programming languages including but not limited to Python and/or SQL.· Experience in key analytical skills (data cleaning, analysis, & visualization) and tools (spreadsheets, Power BI) as well as Data Warehouses, and/or other data storage locations.· Must be able to understand business processes and end users and how they translate into actionable data.· Must be able to demonstrate good time management and communication skills.· Experience with programming languages including but not limited to Python and/or SQL.SCOPE OF SERVICES:· Collaborate with a diverse network of people and/or data systems to collect data.· Clean, manipulate, and analyze large sets of raw data.· Create and maintain analytics reporting, data visualizations, and ad-hoc analyses.· Create dashboards and/or reports to convey the results of data analysis.· Support Lead Analyst in providing data-driven solutions to key stakeholders.· Conduct business analysis and research to identify key metrics and opportunities for improvement.· Present clear and concise findings along with recommendations to stakeholders.· Provide end-user training, documentation ,and support on processes and metrics used.UNIVERSAL Technologies is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
