Celebrating over 40 years in business, Saf-Gard Safety Shoe Company develops and implements safety footwear programs for large industrial, government, and service organizations. We are currently seeking a Retail Store Specialist to work in our stock room with shipping and receiving as well as assisting customers with their safety shoe needs This part-time position offers you an opportunity to gain retail experience Please note - we do not have our stores open at nightTo be successful in the position as Retail Store Specialist, qualified applicants should demonstrate an ability to:Wow customers with exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable customer service when assisting customers with the selection of their choice of safety shoesLearn various product lines and provide the benefits associated with each line to prospective customers.Ensure the store is clean, the showroom display fully stocked, and marketing material is up to date with displays.Merchandise incoming products.Process sales, and look up customer sales information including sales history, sales rules, etc.Receiving inventoryPulling inventory for order fulfillment and processing shipmentsOther duties as assigned.Job Requirements:At least 6 months' experience in retail salesExperience with shipping and receivingMust possess excellent customer service skillsAbility to learn and utilize company operating system (Navision).Demonstrated experience handling credit and cash transactionsDesire to grow sales and do outreach in community
