Flex Healthcare Security Officer-Arlington Heights/Plainfield/Highland ParkPosition Overview:Healthcare Security Officers are assigned to hospital entry points and other high-traffic areas where they operate weapons detection systems and/or magnetometers. Officers provide a welcoming presence while ensuring a safe, secure, and efficient screening process for all who enter the facility. Key Responsibilities:MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR 1st/2nd/3rd shift and able to work different locations.·         Operate weapons detection systems and/or magnetometers to screen staff, patients, and visitors for prohibited items.·         Maintain a professional, approachable presence while ensuring the integrity of security screening protocols.·         Assist hospital personnel and visitors with directions, information, and customer service support.·         Respond appropriately to system alerts and escalate concerns to hospital security leadership or law enforcement as needed.·         Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) documenting incidents, unusual activity, and security observations.·         Support hospital safety initiatives by monitoring entry points and controlling access to restricted areas.·         Maintain compliance with all client-specific and company operational procedures. Qualifications:·         Education: High School Diploma or GED required.·         Licensing: Must possess or obtain a valid PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card) issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).·         Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen.·         Experience: Prior security or military experience preferred, but not required.·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.·         Ability to stand for extended periods while monitoring security screening equipment. Why Work with P4 Security Solutions?·         Competitive pay rates·         DAILYPAY available·         Flexible scheduling across all shifts (Day, Night, Third, and Weekends)·         Professional and supportive work environment·         Opportunity to make a difference in a vital healthcare setting. #HC1Join The P4 Companies – Excellence in Security Careers (DAILYPAY AVAILABLE)The P4 Companies, comprised of P4 Security Solutions and P4 Protective Services, are leaders in professional security services across a range of industries and communities.
