Makes requisitions for drugs and supplies with professional guidance from the pharmacist. Orders, receives, and maintains inventory of drugs and chemicals, and ensures their security. Helps maintain an orderly, clean environment including cleanliness of pharmacy stock and supplies. Enters data into the computer system, recording prescriptions, purchase orders, stock orders, requisitions, and disbursements. Under direction of pharmacist, removes unneeded or outdated drugs from stock and prepares for return or disposal. Performs general clerical duties for the department. What you’ve done: Obtained a High School Diploma or GED California State Pharmacy Technician License Required You've worked in a ‘fast-paced’ environment and really embrace it Demonstrated the ability to follow very specific guidelines and procedures Developed strong basic math skills such as averages, percentages, and ratio Who you are: Methodical and disciplined – you welcome process and structure in your day You take pride in applying attention to detail and work with great accuracy and precision Always show up (on time) with a positive, professional attitude.
