HVAC Service Dispatcher Join a Nashville Legacy - Serving Our Community Since 1959Air Conditioning Service, Inc. is one of the oldest and most respected HVAC companies in town. We're passionate about what we do, and we're looking for a Service Dispatcher equally passionate about providing outstanding service to join our team.What We Offer$23 - $25 per hour, depending on experienceMedical insurance - 50% company-paid for employeeVision and dental insurance available for purchase2 weeks of paid vacation, plus additional PTO7 paid holidays 401(k) with company match Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am - 4 pm, occasional overtime may be requiredWhat You'll DoManage daily schedules for service technicians, dispatching as calls are completed.Coordinate return visits when parts arrive and maintain the on-call schedule.Keep the customer database updated with accurate information.Communicate clearly with managers, employees, and customers, keeping everyone informed on schedules and timelines.Provide accounting with maintenance contract billing details.Prepare service invoices and technician timecards for processing.Required Qualifications:At least a year of dispatching experience in the service industryAdvanced customer service skills with a professional phone mannerAbility to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environmentIntermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)Strong organizational skills and ability to work independentlyHigh school diploma or GEDGeographical knowledge of the service area or the ability to read mapsHVAC industry knowledge and terminology is a plusHVAC dispatching experience is a plusExcellent verbal and interpersonal skillsEnergetic, positive, and solutions-oriented personality
